The 7/8 Girls basketball team started off their season with a win last night against the Homeschool Wildcats. It was a close game throughout, and they started the 4th quarter down by 3 points. The Chargers held the Wildcats scoreless in the 4th quarter and won 28-25. Alexis Owens led all scorers with 13 points. Abbey Jankowski chipped in with 5 points. Abby Bassett, Jillian Hoffman, and Abbey Jankowski dominated on the boards against a bigger team. The Chargers are back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 5th against Crosspoint Christian Academy. The game will be played at Covenant Christian High School. Tip-off is 6:00 pm.
