The 7/8 girls beat Mooresville Christian Academy last night 37-18. ICS jumped out to an early lead and led at halftime 24-4. MCA came out strong in the third quarter cutting the lead to 13, but ICS put forth a strong effort in the 4th quarter controlling the game. ICS had a balanced scoring attack with Abbey Jankowski leading all scores with 12 points. Jillian Hoffman added 7 points while Abby Bassett chipped in 6. Brooklyn Dotson dominated the boards and also scored 3 points. Ellie Waits stifled the MCA guards at the top of our 1-3-1 trap. It was a great team win. ICS moves to 4-0 on the season and will face off against Avon South on Thursday. Top-off is 6:30 at Avon South.
