Chargers Finish Regular Season with Commanding Win Over St. John’s Lutheran Andrew Herbert scored 12 points to lead ICS past St. John’s Lutheran School, 54-11, on Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church and School. ICS controlled the game from the tip, never giving up the advantage. The lead reached a peak of 44 points at half with The Chargers leading 47-3. ICS started out on a 35-point run and never looked back. The Chargers shot 20-36 inside the arc and grabbed 27 rebounds led by Xavier Clark with 6. Jacob Witter hit three threes for ICS and Brayden Mansard added 4 steals. Additional scorers for The Chargers were Jacob Witter with 11 points, Brayden Mansard 10 points, Marshall Smith 4 points, Xavier Clark 4 points, Jackson Thomas 2 points, Liam Yarde 2 points, Nolan Jones 2 points, Luke Mansard 2 points, Caden Hall 2 points and AJ Hilliard 3 points. This wrapped up the regular season for The Chargers finishing 21-3. The Chargers start tournament play on Monday January 29 vs. the winner of The Oaks Academy and St. Richards at Danville Community Middle School with the tip at 5:00pm.
