Indy West Christian School Get Past Speedway Junior High Thanks To Strong Performances Luke Mansard scored 24 points and Kylan Crittendon had a big game as IWCS defeated Speedway Junior High, 65-53, on Monday. Kylan scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Indy West Christian School trailed by as many as 11 points before rallying. Indy West Christian School captured the win despite trailing 30-21 at halftime. Trailing 50-41, Indy West Christian School went on a 10-point run to take the lead. Trailing 52-51, The Chargers went on a 14-1 run to take the lead. The fourth quarter was the best for IWCS as they outscored Speedway Junior High 30-10. Luke scored 12 points in the quarter. Luke scored 24 points to lead The Chargers. IWCS shot well from distance, going 8-16 from three. Indy West Christian School controlled the paint, grabbing 35 rebounds. Kylan led the team with 13 rebounds. Luke knocked down six shots from beyond the arc for Indy West Christian School. Indy West Christian School passed the ball well with nine assists on 22 made baskets. Indy West Christian School swiped 13 steals in the game. Kylan C (13 points), Myles Y (6 points), Gerald C (5 points), Jackson T (5 points), Charlie P (5 points), Kellen B (5 points), and Nolan J (2 points) helped out Indy West Christian School as well. The Chargers will travel to The Oaks for their next game on Wednesday.
