A strong performance from Luke Mansard, helped Indy West Christian School defeat Greenwood Christian Academy, 51-39, on Thursday at Greenwood Christian Academy. Luke M scored 19 points to lead the way for IWCS. Trailing 5-2, Greenwood Christian Academy went on a 10-point run to take the lead. The Chargers had a strong first half, leading 22-18 at halftime and never looked back, securing the victory. The Chargers played particularly well in the second quarter, outscoring Greenwood Christian Academy 11-4. Luke M, Jackson T, and Kylan C each hit multiple three-pointers for IWCS. The team shot 8-17 (47%) from beyond the arc. Kylan C pounded the glass, collecting eight rebounds to lead Indy West. Jackson T (12 points), Kylan C (11 points), Gerald C (7 points), and Charlie P (2 points) also pitched in for Indy West Christian School. Indy West Christian School will travel to Bethesda Christian School for their next game on Monday.
